Itinerary

Fully Guided Istanbul Historical City Tour – Full Day

Hotel Pickup:Your tour begins at 08:30 am when our travel team collects you from your hotel. You'll meet your local tour guide and embark on a fully guided Istanbul city tour.

Istanbul Visiting Sights:

Hippodrome of Constantinople:The ancient Hippodrome, the site of ancient chariot races, features four monuments: the German Fountain of Wilhelm II, the Obelisk of Theodosius, the bronze Serpentine Column, and the Column of Constantine.

Hagia Sophia Museum:This ancient basilica, initially built by Constantine the Great in the 4th century and reconstructed by Justinian in the 6th century, is one of the architectural marvels of all time.

Grand Covered Bazaar:A labyrinth of streets and passages housing more than 4,000 shops, each trade having its designated area. Explore goldsmiths' streets, carpet sellers, and various Turkish arts and crafts shops.

Blue Mosque:Built in the 17th century by the architect Mehmet, this mosque is known as the Blue Mosque due to its magnificent interior decoration featuring blue Iznik tiles. Note that visits are not possible on Fridays due to limited access during the Friday Prayer.

Topkapi Palace:This grand palace served as the residence of the Ottoman sultans from the 15th to the 19th centuries. It houses an exquisite collection of precious gems, jewelry, sultans' thrones, robes, miniatures, and the Holy Mantle. (Please note that the Harem is not included in the program and access requires an additional entrance fee.)

Return to Hotel:At 17:00 pm, the day tour concludes, and you will be driven back to your hotel.
